Pantothenic Acid - Pantothenic Acid is another water soluble vitamin. Pantothenic Acid is found in beef, brewer's yeast, broccoli, carrots, eggs, fish, kidney, pork, legumes, nuts, and pork. Pantothenic Acid is also known as Vitamin B5 but it is not often called that in the literature. Pantothenic Acid can be produced synthetically.

Pantothenic Acid is often delivered to the patient in an injection form. This compound will assist the body in releasing energy from carbohydrates, protein, and fats. It is also thought to stimulate cell growth in areas near wounds. This vitamin is also essential an an element of the Coenzyme A for metabolism.
