PABA Description
PABA - PABA is an acronym
for Para-Aminobenzoic Acid. PABA is basically composed of folate, or
folic acid. PABA is water soluble and is a member of the wide
Vitamin B complex of nutrients. PABA is constantly supplied by
bacteria naturally found in the human intestine. This compound comes
from liver, wheat germ, yeast, kidney, spinach, whole grains,
mushrooms and molasses. PABA assists in the absorption of proteins
and in the formation of red blood cells. In fact, this antioxidant
will help in resisting the severity of suntans. A deficiency of PABA
may lead to emotional disorders, such as depression, nervousness and
irritability.
