Molybdenum Description
Molybdenum - Molybdenum is
something we don't need much of but some small amount is absolutely
essential. Molybdenum is common in beans, beef liver, whole grains,
green leafy vegetables, and peas. Molybdenum contributes
significantly to cellular functions, especially the conversion of
compounds. Most importantly, Molybdenum is central to the conversion
of purines into uric acid. It also aids in the metabolism of
nitrogen. Molybdenum assists bone growth and development, as well.
There is some authority to the proposition that a lack of Molybdenum
can lead to male impotency, especially as the male ages.
