Iodine Description
Iodine - Iodine is
something we don't need much of but some small amount is absolutely
essential. Iodine is common in seafood, saltwater fish, seaweed,
lima beans, mushrooms, as asparagus. Iodine is important in
assisting with development both physically and mentally. The thyroid
gland will be harmed without sufficient Iodine and the compound is
actually a treatment for goiter. Low Iodine has been authoritatively
associated with development of breast cancer, neonatal
hypothyroidism, and weight gain.
