Astragalus Description

Astragalus - Astragalus is a stimulant for the immune system and is used in many settings, including treatment of AIDS. It is also effective against skin burns, abscesses, night sweats, flu and cold, and loss of appetite. In China it has long been considered a curative for arthritis, asthma, diarrhea, and mild nervous disorders. 

Astragalus is also known as Milk Vetch Root and Huang-qi. There may be abdominal discomfort, including gas and loose bowel movements when using Astragalus.
