also known popularly as Vitamin C. Ascorbic Acid is valuable in many

Ascorbic Acid helps keep teeth and gums in good shape and is useful
in healing bone breaks and other wounds. It is a popular notion, but
likely a myth, that Vitamin C, or Ascorbic Acid, can cure the common
cold. Certainly a deficiency of Ascorbic Acid does a person no good
at all. Ascorbic Acid is a popular treatment medically for urinary
tract infections, and is known as a specific for scruvy.
Ascorbic Acid
is abundantly available in broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage,
grapefruit, peppers, potatoes, strawberries, tangerines and
tomatoes. The most frequent choice for natural ingestion of Ascorbic
Acid is through eating oranges. It is commonly believed that excess
Ascorbic Acid will be excreted through the urine.
